The Vampire World is one of the many universes in the Multiverse introduced in "The Star". In this universe, the Vampire King used the magic of the Ice King's crown to blot out the sun, resulting in a world where vampires roam day and night, feeding on many of the survivors of the Mushroom War.
History[]
Vampire Takeover[]
In the aftermath of the Mushroom War, a young Marceline, running from Oozers, comes across the corpse of Simon Petrikov and scavenges his shoes before she's approached by the Vampire King. The King turns Marceline into a vampire and raises her as his daughter. At some point, he finds the Ice King's crown. Using its powerful magic, the Vampire King creates clouds that blot out the sun, allowing vampires to roam free. Vampires become the dominant species on Earth, using humanity and other people as cattle ever since.
Present Day[]
Fionna. Cake, and Simon enter this universe in search of its native crown. They were attacked by vampires but were saved by a ragtag resistance of vampire hunters, Bonnibel Bubblegum, Martin Mertens, and Huntress, in their Peppermint Tank. They strategize a plan to snatch the crown from the Vampire King; however, they are lured into a trap by Marceline and her subjects, who kill Martin and damage the Peppermint Tank.
With little recourse left, the group begin their assault on the Vampire King, with Huntress tasked with sniping the crown off of his head. However, the Vampire King and Marceline were aware of the resistance's plan and had Huntress killed. Bonnibel and Marceline battle it out while Fionna, Cake, and Simon attempt to snag the crown. The latter group fails, however, and use Prismo's remote to escape the universe. Meanwhile, Bonnibel tosses herself and Marceline off of the roof and the Vampire King to call out to his minions to save Marceline, leaving Bonnie and Marceline's fate unknown.
