Let's make this short and simple. Something needs to be done. There have been useless drama fights, trolling, and utter annoyance running amock in chat. I say we break down on the rules, and become more strict. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a loose chat. But enough is enough. I get on chat to have fun and hang out, but it's becoming hard due to the above problems. Most of the users of this wiki are posting and creating blogs and forums instead of actually editing any pages!
It attracts a crowd of people who do not contribute to this wiki in a positive way.
It detracts attention from the actual wiki.
Most users log into chat just to be inactive, defeating the purpose of chat.
I don't think I have ever actually seen a proper conversation about Adventure Time in chat.
And now that they removed all the standard emoticons... Well I'm absolutely perplexed as to why they did that. It's like removing the ability to like things on Facebook! It doesn't make much sense to me, and is one of many reasons why I think chat should be disabled.
And before all the n00bish users spam this blog with poorly spelled hateful comments about how stupid I am and how they'll leave if chat is disabled....
