Move

Can someone help me move this? I'd like to rename it to The Enchiridion, or just Enchiridion. The (book) part isn't really necessary since the episode is spelled differently. Waddle D33 22:37, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

I would, but people might be looking for the episode rather than the book when they type "The Enchiridion", which leads them to a disambig. I think that's more fitting since the episode title is so similar. --Moocowisi 23:04, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
How did they do this?
Enchiridion Book

Just asking --FusionFall123 08:13, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
I know I shouldn't be saying this, but just look where it says Edit on the top part. Next to it, there is an arrow pointing down. You press that and then press RENAME. Easy Afliador8 23:58, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Why not? ShinxƒelinoelScraft. 04:59, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
It is not of my business? Afliador8 21:39, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
Interesting reason, but hey the book appears to be featured in the next episode.

Why'd someone remove the translation of the Elvish on the hinge. I had posted this with a source link as well:

The Enchurudion is similar to the player's handbook of the 3.5 edition of D&D

Elvish Translation

I can't seem to find my source, but the elvish symbols on the book actualy translated (at least so I've heard in anecdotal discusions.) into a phrase along the lines of "key to the heart of the (spider's) web," or something like that. If one of you could find a good source to back this up, it'd make a nice adition to the page. Once again, this was a source of a source of a source based on some year old reddit thread I found when looking up Enchiridion with some other key words on the /r/adventuretime subreddit. 174.22.217.83 06:11, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

Any relation to the Encheiridion by Epictetus?

Any relation to the Encheiridion by Epictetus? Maybe the word has some greek meaning that would explain it?

There is an actual book by that name, you can even find it on amazon! It is a book by an old Stoic philosopher on how to live well. Ilovedeadprincess (talk) 05:44, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Nine gems

This page could do with a numbered list of the 9 gems used to access its special powers, in the order in which they were inserted, along with a description of the gem, who it's from, shape, etc. I remember one of them was LSP (with a grody means of getting it). It's a critical issue, I'll have to rewatch the scene, ideally if we could show 1 clip with the gems being taken from their princess hosts and then 2nd clip showing them being inserted into the book. Then we can list their keepers. This is some infinity gauntlet / elements of harmony type stuff, but even more complex. +Yc 23:47, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

All the gems get inserted practically simultaneously (within a few frames of each other) with the exception of PB's, which is inserted last. —BellamyBug (talk|tribs) 00:29, February 16, 2014 (UTC)

Farmworld Enchiridion Differences

The Farmworld version of the Enchiridion appears in the latest AT episode "Crossover". It appears that the Farmworld version looks slightly different. It should be noted that the Farmworld Enchiridion has the Ice King's crown jewel in the center instead of the Candy Kingdom's crown jewel in the center. Additionally, while both Enchiridions have a gem configuration of eight small gems surrounding one central large gem, in the normal Finn's world Enchiridion the gems are placed circularly around the central gem whereas in Farmworld that Enchiridion has its gems placed in a diamond pattern around the central gem.

It's not clear how Big Destiny found the other gems (besides the Ice King's crown gems) to slot into the Enchiridion since magic doesn't exist in Farmworld and so, most of the other kingdoms wouldn't exist either (such as the Fire kingdom, the Slime kingdom, etc.)

FarmworldEnchiridion

The Farmworld version of the Enchiridion has a different gem layout than the normal-world's Enchiridion did.
