It was suggested that the number appearing in the dungeon as Princess Bubblegum came through the bookshelf entrance was the hexidecimal color for the background. After comparing values from stills of the scene this is clearly not true. I was inspired to do some investigating because of this. The color in question indeed does not match the wall it's written on because it's too bright. However, it is pretty close to the color of the floor next to it. Maybe it was the color before shadows were applied to it? Nonetheless, #487061 has a noticeably stronger blue component compared to red, while the color of the floor has nearly equal levels of blue and red. Yes, but if the number does not refer to the the hexadecimal code for the background color doesn't it seem unlikely that a random number would even be close to the background color? Maybe it was the original color before color enhancement, color correction, shadows, etc. --12/16/10
This episode gave me a nightmare, cause the Title Card reminded me of Giygas from Earthbound.
