Upcoming episodes[]

I have serious doubts about some of the upcoming titles. Some of them like "Glorriors" or "You're a Beautiful Dancer" come from old story treatments Frederator posted a long time ago. They may be season 1 episodes that were scrapped or renamed. There's no new evidence that they're still being made, although I guess it's possible. Other ones, namely "There Will Be Mud" and "Claw" turn up no confirming hits from searches. I think somebody just made those up. --Cornprone 02:03, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Well, we shouldn't just leave false information up because we can't prove a negative. If I type "There Will Be Mud" "adventure time" into google, the only hit is this website. That's pretty strong evidence that it's not real. --Cornprone 06:16, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
OK, here's what I did. First, episodes like The Glorriors, etc. were not confirmed for season 2, so I moved them out of the season 2 section, into their own section. Second, I added refs with proof for every future episode, and removed those without proof, even "Masters of Romance" which I know exists, but does not have valid proof on the internet. --Cornprone 01:52, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, yes, I added this episode because I saw the storyboard on Pen Ward's videostream. But there was no evidence saved. So go ahead and remove it for now, even though I'm confident that it exists. That said, while you're at it, remove "There Will Be Mud" and "Claw", two episodes I'm convinced do not exist, and for which there is also no evidence. --Cornprone 15:05, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Season 2 summaries[]

So I was looking at the Australian Cartoon Network page that FigmentJedi mentioned. It's an interesting season 2 episode guide with some changed episode titles and summaries that seem accurate -- except for a few errors. For example, two episodes have the same summary. Also, it only goes up to Episode 25, which means it's missing two half-episodes. Worth a look, though. --Cornprone 15:10, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

Format[]

Hi Ruin Cireela. I noticed you revamped this page (again) without asking anybody (again). What's up with this [[Template:Ep2]]? Why does it do two episodes at once? Isn't it kind of confusing? Yes, I'm pretty sure Ruin is devoted to copying over templates from Wikipedia without seeking any input from anyone here. It would be a lot of work to revert it back at this point, though I did like the old look better. --Cornprone 23:05, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Since no one defended Ruin's changes, I went ahead and changed the season two section back to using a regular wiki table rather than the template. This had the positive side effect of causing the "Upcoming episodes" subheading to move back to its correct place. I may also convert season 1 back if I get bored one day. I did retain the format of keeping episode summaries on a separate row, because they would have been too squashed otherwise. --Cornprone 12:22, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

Upcoming Seasons/Episodes[]

I really hope that Adventure Time will keep going. Since they already confirmed Season 4, I want them to keep making episodes. So far, I think this is the best show in Cartoon Network history. I hope they make lots of seasons. I want them to make season 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and all the way up until season 60!!

  • Really don't want it to last that long if the creative team isn't set up to do so. Most of the time when a show just keeps going, it loses many of it's creative people and it decays into stupidity, usually only staying on the air due to it's past reputation and the network's obsession with it. (won't name names...but it's obvious what I'm talking about) I rather it have a strong run, finish on top and be remembered for years to come. -StrangerAtaru 12:43, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • I would say defeat the Lich already because for Season 4 they are going to explore on characters that only appeared in Season 1, got a new love interest for Finn (which is Flame Princess), and they will go into Marceline's past more (and I hope there is room for some Marceline and Finn moments). Supposed Season 4 episodes[]

Well, the standards on Wikipedia (and which I also prefer to follow) is that article titles should follow the same rules of capitalization as sentences: words that are not the first word are not capitalized unless they're a proper noun or part of a title. How many Episodes are There?[]

I need to know how many episodes have been aired so far. I added how many episodes are there, but some person just deleted it because he thinks it's "unnecessary". Why would you think this is unnecessary? Because without the total count of episodes, that leaves many questions unanswered. Especially this question: "Has Adventure Time reached the 100th episode mark?"

Besides, "do the math"? There needs to be an EASIER way to do that, other than using up 5 minutes to count, especially when you got lost.

There seems to be quite a bit of talk about a 7th season, and this show is putting up fairly great ratings. Along with Regular Show and The Amazing World of Gumball, Monday night has become a great time for cartoons. However out of the three, Adventure time puts up extremely great numbers. Thought Provoking Ideas[]

Hi people, here is a thought of mine. Something to think about. Out of all the wreckage, their was mutation. Hence the magic puddles that contain radiation. Therefore if Jakes powers simply come from a mutation, then how was a normal baby born at all? Granted, we aren't sure when the war was... but what I'm saying is that a human boy who is approximately 14-15 now, was born after the war. He would have had to have been born after Marceline and according to her age verification she is in her hundreds. Therefore their must have been some humans left. What if, and I'm just spitballing here, that maybe, Susan Strong may possibly be Finn's true mother. Season info[]

Shouldn't some of the season 4 info be removed? It seems unneeded. It should only have the following info in my opinion.

Season 4 premiered on April 2, 2012. Episode titles were posted on the Frederator Blog in March 2012.
Writing of the season had started by May 2011. According to Andy Ristaino, by February 2012, the season had been written, storyboarded and approved. The season saw the premiere of the 100th episode of the series, "The Hard Easy" (previously titled "Prince Huge"). The season featured guest voices by Donald Faison, George Takei, Erik Estrada, Andy Milonakis, Emo Phillips, Bobcat Goldthwait and Susie Essman. The season's introductory episode was a continuation of the Season 3 finale, and the Season 4 finale will continue into Season 5's first episode.

January 2013 episodes?[]

The TVGuide.com page appears to have "Jake the Dad," "Davey" and "Mystery Dungeon" as the next three episodes scheduled to debut over the first three Mondays, skipping right over "Bad Little Boy" for now. Since this wiki seems to have a problem with creating list pages.

Season 5.2[]

We need to add to Season 5, as it is airing more episodes than usual under the banner of "Season 5.2". I'm not sure why this is, maybe they're doing something special? That "last season" statement had no foundation and has been reverted. However, it IS possible that the just-aired "Root Beer Guy" may be the last new episode of 2013. Season 5 and The Official Youtube Channel[]

The only official listing of seasons I can find anywhere, the pay-per-view Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/show/adventure-time/playlists ), divides season 5 into season 5 and 6, and calls the current season "season 7". I am not sure how much other official information counteracts this, but just wanted to mention this. Adventure Time New Episode airing early in Canada?[]

There is a Episode listing in Canada on Cartoon Network, It is called "The More You Moe, The Moe You Know". And it says it airs December 2nd.

DVD episodes[]

Should this page have season 7 be 26 episodes only, and the rest be in Season 8? I know that's what the DVD will have in it, but Adam Muto clearly stated that Season 7 ends with Preboot/Reboot. The season is 39 eps + shorts. IMO, word from the executive producer and showrunner trumps word from the marketing department that made the DVD.

Cartoon Network kinda sucks anyway, since they obviously don't bother to advertise AT, I wouldn't put it past them to mess up the home release like this.Upgrader01 (talk) 18:35, May 18, 2017 (UTC)

Adam Muto said that the finale to Season 7 is Reboot. That means that every episode afterwards is season 8. If you look at the tumblr tags on King of Ooo, the unaired episodes are tagged as season 8. SwegWrestlur 05:17, May 24, 2017 (UTC)

Keep Both Season Numbers?[]

Can we keep both season numbers and have two episode lists to avoid confusion?

The first one is the broadcast season in which season 7 ends with "Reboot." This was the producers' intention and makes more sense. The second one is the home release season in which season 7 ends with "The Thin Yellow Line". IMO this will avoid many confusion about episode numbers.

The Infosphere, the Futurama Wiki is an example of a wiki that separates TV broadcast seasons and home release seasons. It has two episode lists: one in production order (the default list) and one in broadcast order . For example, "Fry and the Slurm Factory" has the production number 1ACV13 and broadcast number S02E04. It is a Season 1 episode and Broadcast Season 2 episode.

So, my suggestion is to keep main episode list in broadcast seasons because it's more familiar to most people. Create a new list titled "List of Episodes (Home Release Seasons)" or something like that for episodes after "The Thin Yellow Line." Add a new field like "dvdnum" in the Episode template so that both episode numbers will show up in "Broke His Crown," the first episode the two numbers differ, and after.

Completely unnecessary and a lot of effort. We are fine with how it is set up now. We don't need another list when the confusion is only for season 7 onward, whereas for Futurama the debacle is the entire series. As far as Adam Muto and the show's official tumblr is concerned, season 7 ends with Reboot and season 8 is still going so we go with that. SwegWrestlur 09:20, May 24, 2017 (UTC)
Did I understand it correctly that we have 9 seasons in broadcast-list of seasons (where 7-8-9 ends with "Reboot", "Three Buckets" and "Come Along With Me") and 10 seasons in home-release-list (like the list on En-Wikipedia. Where 7-8-9-10 ends with "The Thin Yellow Line", "Islands: Part 8", "Three Buckets" and "Come Along With Me")? I'm sorry if this question is stupid, Just trying to figure it out.
