Yes It is also known that the Mushroom war destroyed the humans your article is very neat and well written. there could be other humans out there or who might be discovered in later episodes possibly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adventure Time hehe name taken? (talkcontribs)

Hyoomans are hybrid?

Of course they were once human but they aren't now, and I don't think you can call them a hybrid unless you call all human-like humanoids like whatever Dr. Princess is a human hybrid. felinoel ~ (Talk) 08:08, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

Susan?

So what does that make Susan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adventure Time hehe name taken? (talkcontribs)

well it was never really confermed if Susan was a human she might be a fish person like the rest of her coloney although i do think she is one of  the last humans i don't think it was ever confermed  Orcaboy (talk) 21:51, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Speculation

Susan is constantly being placed as human or possibly, this has got to stop. Until more episodes come or the crew reveals it, then she should not be on this page.
Just because Ice King was found to be formerly human, it doesn't mean Ice Queen is. Without word of Natasha she is still just Ice Queen. It should be removed until further proof.
-- Bunai82 (talk) 03:20, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

The Ice King was declared to have his species be Wizard, and so it was decided that was the same species for the Ice Queen, I think this wiki would consider the Ice Queen to be also previously human. felinoel ~ (Talk) 09:31, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
I just prefer some kind of say by the person who created her or proof by a drawing. The various trivia lead to the addition of Simone Petrikov which was simply done because it looks feminine. Without proof the name is just a fan-made name. It's like writing that Lord Monochromicorn can speak Korean if he felt like it because he's Lady Rainicorn's variant.
Even Natasha stated that some information on the wiki was incorrect and attempted to fix it. Some examples - 6months ago 3months ago Dec7,11. So, it would at least be logical to try and get information about a character from the source or state outright that is speculative additions. It's understandable that fans would like to know that Ice Queen was human or that Fionna and Finn can exist at the same time, but it's still wishful thinking. -- Bunai82 (talk) 18:29, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
Well Jake is a dog and Cake is a cat. So personally, I would not make assumptions about the species of one character being the same as their gender-swapped counterpart. --Cornprone 21:04, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
That is the only case that the species is noticeably changed and that was only because Finn and Jake are the iconic characters of the show and having just a female dog wouldn't do it justice and the general feeling is that dogs are masculine and cats are effeminate. felinoel ~ (Talk) 23:32, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

Speculation pt2

It's bothersome enough that Susan is still on the page, now we have Marceline and Marshall Lee (fictional). Besides an episode and age of the character, there is no solid source that she was human or transformed from one. It's already known that she had no bite marks during her childhood. -- Bunai82 (talk) 03:46, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Pendleton Ward said she was (at least most likley) turned into a Vampire prior to the apocolypse, sense there is nothing even closely resembeling humans that isn't human in the pre-apocolypse world, she couldn't possibly be anything other than human. The bite marks could simply be an animation error. Awsome Bill from Dawsonville 04:32, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

It's not an error, the production art confirms that it is not. (see) Adam Muto about "bite marks" Re:1 Re:2. Adam Muto on not confirming what is not seen Re:3 Re:4.
It would make sense to put them both with Susan, even though I find all three unnecessary on this page until more episodes arrive. If she is a mutated (or sub; hybrid) human then it at least makes more sense. -- Bunai82 (talk) 06:14, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
I still say she isn't quite a vampire per se and him saying she turned into a vampire just means that she turned into what she is now which can be considered a vampire. Also that she acts like old film versions of vampires because she could shapeshift into whatever and probably saw those films as a kid and liked them. Which all that rant means would be I agree that there is no proof that she was ever human but disagree to put her with Susan, just because she existed before The Great Mushroom War doesn't mean she was human. I am pretty sure tons of Lumpy Space People, Candy People, and undead people existed before The Great Mushroom War. Since they "mutated" from stars/star dust, candy, and regular dead people. ShinxfelinoelScraft 14:12, March 20, 2012 (UTC)

Speculation pt3

I've been introduced to quite the speculation that Dr. Princess is Betty, essentially she goes by Princess because that was what she used to be called and her glowing headband is similar to the Ice King's crown in how it keeps him alive. So, we state that Betty is deceased yet we don't know this for sure, we only assumed it because she was alive about a thousand years ago and was pure human then so it is very likely that she died but it is possible thhat she mutated along with everyone else and uses a magic device to elongate her lifespan. So should I remove her from the known to be deceased humans list or maybe even just change the title of the list to 'Possibly Deceased' ShinxfelinoelScraft 15:50, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Speculation pt4

I'm somewhat bothered by most of the entries in "possible former humans," as they seem highly speculative. The intro to that section even says skeletons and ghosts could be humans, but they could also be deceased humanoids, yet the list still includes ghosts and skeletons from the show. Technically it's not incorrect to say they are "possible" former humans since AT is a work of fiction (there could be an episode in the future that reveals Tree Trunks is a former human, somehow), but it's wholly unnecessary to have that on this page. The only entry I can see as belonging there is Business Men, since there are hints in the episode that they come from a previous civilization. None of the others have any real evidence that they were ever humans, it's just guessing. Lailoken (Talk) 05:30, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Princess Beautiful

It is imposible for her to be a human as Finn met her before dying.Afliador8 18:09, April 16, 2012 (UTC)

What makes you so sure of that? ShinxfelinoelScraft 18:12, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
Just how the wiki categorizes townspeople (like in the episode "His Hero") as non-human, but rather mutants, Princess Beautiful should be placed under the overview of "undead." Yes, she COULD have ONCE been human, but this has not been confirmed and based solely on the information we have, we can only say that she is undead. TheOriginalTygon http://adventuretime.wikia.com/wiki/Marceline 23:55, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
She is in "Humanoids."
But yes, if she is a skeleton, it just means that is her 'species' not her status. -- Bunai82 (talk) 00:52, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

Tiffany

So I know Tiffany was barely in the episode of "My Two Favorite People." But he looked a lot like a human? Are violating the last humans ever theory because of that one bit character?

Removing Marceliine and Hunson from "Potential Former Humans"

I think it's a safe bet to say that neither Marceline nor Hunson were ever human, and Marceline at least has always been a hybrid. Andy ristaino said he doesn't believe she was ever human. As seen in "Memory of a memory" and "I remember you," Marceline was demonic BEFORE she was a vampire. So shall we move her from the "possible former human" list? Icanhascheezeburger (talk) 10:30, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Finally! The page has been cleared of speculation nonsense! It did agitate me that people were just adding any humanoid in the show. -- Bunai82 (talk) 04:19, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

she was confirmed half human at wondercon 2013 tennispony (talk) 02:37, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

'Hybrid' doesn't mean Formally human or fully human, which is what the edit warring was about and then some.
It got annoying and there was no categorization for such a character without confirmation. -- Bunai82 (talk) 03:44, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

Farmworld Humans?

Shouldn't the humans appearing in the Season 5 opening two-parter be placed in a different category than Finn the Human, since they're from a alternate universe? -- Glenn L (talk) 01:39, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

Farmworld was an alternate timeline, and I already fixed the location of the Farmworld humans. ƒelinoel (Talk) 45px-Wikia_Logo.svg.png 15:13, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, now I am thouroughly confused, but then so was Finn after Jake wished him back to Ooo at the end of the episode, so I can relate with him. As of this post, only Finn's baby brother, Choose Bruce, and the Destiny Gang are listed in the Farmworld Humans category, but you have a picture of Finn's dad despite his name not being on the list. I'll leave the list alone and let you decide what to do next, but it's right now inconsistent. -- Glenn L (talk) 04:19, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

The Farmworld was not another universe, it was the same universe, Prismo just changed the past in that same universe.
Because someone removed it recently. ƒelinoel (Talk) 45px-Wikia_Logo.svg.png 14:47, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

City of Thieves?

In City of Thieves season one episode thirteen), there are many humans, or humanoids. Finn does not seem to react to them. Why? Are they humans at all?

In Henchman (season one episode 22), Old Man Henchman apears to be a human. In the photographs in the background in his house, he has photographs of a woman, a younger looking child, and a white cat. Presumably, the woman is his wife and the child is his son. They appear to be human. What has happened to them?     TheGlassCat (talk) 00:25, November 25, 2013 (UTC)TheGlassCat

Those are all considered "humanoids" by the creators. Heeeeeeeeeeeere's JOHNNY !!! 00:43, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
To be honest, Pen himself has stated that even Finn has mutations, SLIGHT ones though, his tiny eyes and seemingly lack of a nose. What is human anymore is a matter of debate but since the creators consider Finn to be human and no one else (as of yet) then we consider that to be true here. ƒelinoel (Talk) 45px-Wikia_Logo.svg.png 02:24, November 30, 2013 (UTC)

Two Bread Tom Founder Staus

This article states that Two Bread Tom is a Founder, but is there any evidence to support that? While there being a statue dedicated to Tom does seem to suggest that he is important in the remaining humans' culture, I don't think it solidifies him as a founder. Thoughts?  - Quak1234 (talk) 00:35, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
