A couple points to add to the "Trivia" section, if the webmasters see fit. I'm typing these in an informal style, so you would likely want to rewrite them before adding them. One is a bit shaky, the other is pretty solid:
- When Ice King tells the dresser drawer that he intended for him to be his improv coach, the drawer responds "Yes, and... ?" The phrase "Yes, and..." is the fundamental principle of improvisational performance, meaning that you should agree with anything your performance partner says, and then add something to it. This is something that will be drilled into your head in any Improv class (I should know, having taken a few, and performed in an improv troupe for a while).
- While forcing the Life Giving Magi to animate the various objects around his home, the Ice King mentions that his "incredible crew" is really coming together. "Incredible Crew" was a short-lived sketch-comedy show on Cartoon Network that Finn's voice actor, Jeremy Shada, was a cast member on.
Should I add either or both of these entries? I try to limit myself to copy-editing (grammar clean-up mostly), but if no one else wants to I can do so. The entry about improv was the one I was sure about (trust me, having lots of improv experience there is no way they were not making that reference, especially considering how clunky that dialogue sounds otherwise) and I can even provide reference if necessary.
The "Incredible Crew" reference I'm pretty sure is intentional, but if you guys don't think it's clear enough (or interesting enough) then it doesn't need to be posted.
Since no one has said otherwise, I'm just going to add these entries to the "Cultural References" section. If anyone has any objection, or wants to change or add to the entries as I've written them, please feel free to let me know here or make the edits yourself.
