Looks like Finn still resents Martin. He sees him as a self absorbed monster still.
Traps in the Foyer[]
I think this could be an homage to one of modern Dungeons & Dragons canon characters Aeofel Ehlromane that died in an acid pit trap in the foyer of a dungeon/enemy stronghold.
Minor celebrity Wil Wheaton the player controlling Aeofel at the time protested; & incredulously appealed to the dungeon master, "who even does that?!? "who puts a giant acid pit in the foyer?!?"
Despite being raised from the dead, the character Aeofel continued to suffer traumatic stress afterwards from his ordeal and would surely approve of dungeon foyers being forevermore promoted as a 'safe space'
