Spirit sparkles are sparkles that deceased people can apparently use. It is unknown how they work, such as if the dead person actually controls the sparkles. As seen in the episode "Dad's Dungeon," Joshua's spirit sparkles lead Finn and Jake to a secret place in the Tree Fort and stop at the Holo-message player. It is inferred that they guide living people to do stuff for the deceased.
