The Mutant Coyotes are a species of coyotes that appear during a flashback in the Adventure Time: Distant Lands episode, "Obsidian".
In the episode, a young Marceline spots a child coyote and begins to pet it, referring to it as a puppy. Once her mom sees its disfigured face, she kicked it to the side, which angers an older coyote that was watching from a ledge. It howls and begins to attack, but Marceline sucks its soul out. The younger coyote is seen curling up beside its soul-sucked companion before the scene changes.
Appearance[]
These creatures appear to be large coyotes with three tails, multiple yellow disfigures eyes with red pupils, and spikes in place of their eyebrows. The adult coyote appeared to have a mouth on its stomach and was able to divide its maw when howling. This adult coyote was also covered in scars.
Trivia[]
- The younger coyote was able to speak with a child-like voice, saying the word "wazzup".
