"Moonlight Sonata" is a musical piece for the piano written by Ludwig van Beethoven for Countess Giulietta Guicciardi, a student of his whom he was apparently in love with. Even though it was originally created for the piano, Jake was able to play the song on his viola when he attempted to lure away the horse in the episode, "The Eyes."

- Likely due to how long ago Beethoven lived, Jake mispronounces his name as "Beet-hoven."
- Jake also pronounces "Mozart" as "Mah-zart".
