Adventure Time miniseries are groups of eight 11-minute parts set from seasons 7 through 9 of the series. They generally focus on a particular event or character for the majority of the miniseries, and the title of each miniseries matches the appropriate theme. Each miniseries also has its own individual intro theme, different to that of normal episodes of the show, but still with the same general structure.
Adventure Time featured three miniseries during its run: Stakes in season 7, Islands in season 8, and Elements in season 9.

Plot[]
Marceline the Vampire Queen wishes to be an undead, red-sucker no more, but can Princess Bubblegum concoct a cure? At the same time, five of Marceline's most fearsome foes return from her past. What might her most powerful nemesis, the Vampire King, have in store? Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum and their friends join the Vampire Queen's fight against her immortal enemies. After an arrival of a mysterious human transport ship, Finn, Jake, Susan Strong, and BMO set sail to four islands southwest of Ooo in search of other humans. During their trip, they unlock secrets, encounter various creatures, make new friends, and explore a variety of islands, find about what really happened to the human race, and Finn meets a very important member of his family.
