Max (originally HBO Max until 2023) is an American subscription video on-demand streaming service from WarnerMedia Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery. The service launched on May 27, 2020 as HBO Max and rebranded as Max on May 23, 2023, as a result of Warner Bros. Discovery moving on to replace HBO Max with a newly rebranded service and a shortened name.
Max contains all episodes from the original Adventure Time series in addition to four specials titled Adventure Time: Distant Lands which aired from 2020 through 2021 with the first special, "BMO" premiering on June 25, 2020. A gender-bend spin-off titled Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake premiered on August 31, 2023 and has been renewed for a second season.[1]
