The Blue Jay yelling "Whooooooooah!" is an homage to the character Mordecai from the series Regular Show. By pure coincidence, J.G. Quintel who provided the voice for the Blue Jay has also voiced the aforementioned character from the show and has also storyboarded the episode "Ocean of Fear."
