James Baxter is a British animator who worked for Disney and DreamWorks Animation Studios. At Disney, he was the supervising animator for such characters as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Rafiki in The Lion King, Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. With DreamWorks he animated characters like Moses in The Prince of Egypt, Tulio in The Road to El Dorado and Spirit in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. He was a guest animator for the episodes "James Baxter the Horse" and "Horse and Ball", where he voiced and animated James Baxter.
