Jake's Dungeon Stone is a game on the now-defunct Cartoon Network website. The game involves Finn going into and exploring the Dungeon Stone, found by Jake, upgrading his skills as he goes further into the dungeon. The game uses the Unity game engine, and the player needs to have Unity Web Player or Flashpoint installed to play the game. The game is available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
Plot[]
Finn wants to hang out with Jake, but he was too busy hanging out with Lady Rainicorn. This led to Finn becoming depressed, and Jake decides to cheer him up by using his almighty Dungeon Stone.
Gameplay[]
The game's controls use the W, A, S, and D keys to move Finn as he explores through the dungeon and progress through each floor, and use the left mouse button in order to fight enemies along his path. The player can also use the space bar in order to help Finn rush faster and to dodge enemies' attacks, and the player can use the E key to interact with the environment of the game, such as doors and chests, where the chests tend to have traps that set after the player opens them. The player can use the M key to show a minimap on the middle of the screen if the player is stuck, and can use the 1 key in order to eat one of Jake's five sandwiches, in which the sandwiches will refill after some time.
In order to progress through the next floor, the player must kill a random enemy that will drop the golden key, as well as to find a trapdoor with a gold lock on it.
In order to improve Finn's skills, the player needs at least one skill point, which can be obtained by leveling up Finn by fighting enemies, and gold which drop from chests that Finn open and enemies that Finn kills/killed. The player can obtain power-ups via shiny green particles which will give Finn a random effect.
Finn can also change outfits which will be unlocked after reaching certain levels, which can improve his health thanks to the armor. The four outfits are Finn's Outfit, Leather Armor, Royal Rogue, and Loot King, which are unlocked at the beginning, level 15, level 45, and level 100 respectively.
Glitches[]
- In the Unity Web Player build of the game, several of the enemies appear completely pink, likely because of missing or mishandled shaders. This is fixed in the newer WebGL build.
Trivia[]
- The Loot King's description regarding the outfit's power is a reference to Vegeta's iconic line, "IT'S OVER 9000!!!" in the Ocean Productions English dub of Dragon Ball Z.
