The Adventure Time Mini-Series: "Islands," is an upcoming miniseries from the American animated television series Adventure Time created by Pendleton Ward and produced by Frederator Studios. It is slated to air sometime in the winter of 2016/2017.

Synopsis

Finn meets other humans and an important member of his family for the first time.

Trivia

• This will be the second Adventure Time miniseries in the show which will air as part of season 8. The first being "Stakes" which aired as part of season 7.
• The miniseries will tie to a graphic novel with the same name. The graphic novel serves as a prequel to the event.
• The Islands miniseries is scheduled to be released on DVD on January 24, 2017.
