The Giant Ant is a background character who appears in the Adventure Time mini-episode titled "The Wand." It is seen in the Grass Lands when Ice King attempts to burn it to death with a magnifying glass. When Ice King yells at it in frustration, it replies in a voice reminiscent of a slide trombone, like the unseen adults in the Peanuts cartoons. It wanders off after Finn and Jake save it from Ice King.

The red ant is the size of a large dog. It has a sad face throughout most of its appearance. It only has four legs, unlike real ants.
