The Fries is a song featured in "It Came from the Nightosphere." It was written by storyboard artist Rebecca Sugar. Marceline sang and played the Axe-Bass, while Finn beat-boxed the rhythm and recorded. Partway through Finn dropped the beat, and Marceline stopped playing. Marceline dedicated the song to her father. The Ice King is also shown to know of the song as revealed in "Holly Jolly Secrets Part Two," when he sang it wearing a wig similar to Marceline's hair.
Later on in "It Came from the Nightosphere," Marceline's dad apologized for eating her fries. He then said, "They weren't even that good; they were really cold."

Trivia
"Yo, man. Don't eat those"
- In "Memory of a Memory," Marceline's father is seen eating Marceline's fries in her memory. Finn, who knows what happens next, tries to warn him not to eat them.
