Frederator Studios was an independent American animation production company founded by television producer Fred Seibert in 1997, and was one of the production companies behind Adventure Time along with Cartoon Network Studios. Their slogan is "Original Cartoons since 1998." It was announced on October 26, 2016 that Frederator had been purchased by the Canadian animation studio, Rainmaker, and as a result will merge to become "WOW! Unlimited Media".[1]

Frederator was also responsible for Random! Cartoons which was the home of the original Adventure Time animated short, as well as numerous other cartoon series such as The Fairly OddParents, ChalkZone, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and Fanboy and Chum Chum.

Frederator Films

Frederator also created a film-making division called Frederator Films. They planned to release two films a year, but since announcing their first films in 2007, have yet to release their first film.
