Hello Adventure Time fans, so as you might have heard season 9 will be the last season of Adventure Time series. Though I am kinda bummed, I’m also relived know that the show will have a proper ending and not be the “Spongebob” or “FOP” of Cartoon Network.

However since this will be the last season, this is the last chance for the writers to make episodes and I have some idea for episodes that I think they should do for there last season.

The Return of The Lich- As we all know, the Lich is a powerful being in the Adventure Time world and is constantly trying to destroy all life in the show, and is currently the character Sweet P. Though Sweet P is the exact opposite of the Lich, its been shown that his true self is still in there.

My idea of his return is that, thanks to the severed arm of Farmworld Jakes lost in the episode “Crossover”, something cosmic causes the Lich within Sweet P to come back where he yet again causes a set of events to try and destroy the people of Ooo. Maybe throughout the season, Sweet P (who is possessed by the Lich) starts plotting from the background on causing the destruction of Ooo ?

Jake discovering the truth about his DNA and shapeshifting- In the episode “Joshua and Margaret Investigations” we learn that Jake is half of an unknown race of shape shifters. I believe that there should be an episode where the gang run into that alien, causing Jake to learn the truth about him and his powers, but also learn about the shape shifting creature.

Origin of Susan Strong- Susan Strong is a minor character in the Adventure Time world yet we don’t know much about her. What we do know is that she is indeed human, that lives with the Hyooman tribe, a race of fish/human hybrids, and has some kind of cybernetic implant. Thats why I believe that there should be an episode that finally explain how Susan got that implant and what she is doing living with the Hyoomans, maybe explain the origins of the Hyoomans as well. It looks like this will happen in the upcoming episodes “Preboot” and “Reboot” (This list was made before Preboot and Reboot aired so this can checked off the list, espeically since more episodes will center around Susan)

Betty becoming normal again- For those who don’t know Betty is Simon’s AKA Ice King’s fiancee. She was able to travel to the future and reunite with Simon for a bit but learning that the Ice King’s crown is the only thing keeping him alive, she has devoted herself to trying to use the crown to let Simon be himself, even working with people like Magic Man to cure him. Long story short, she obtained Magic Mans powers and is insane now, but still tries to save Simon. There should be an episode where the gang, while trying to stop her from doing something dangerous, indirectly cure her of magic mans insanity and goes back to normal.

The gang adventures on a different part of the Adventure Time Earth- The other day I realized that most of the episodes of the series have taken place in the kingdom of Ooo, with a few exceptions. Yet this is just one part of the entire Earth. What if there was an episode( or episodes) where Finn and the gang end up on another continent of the Earth where things are entirely different then that of the land of Ooo ? Maybe they explore the area near the crater that is on the Earth ?

Finn and Jakes 1st adventure- So its obvious that Finn and Jake are adventurers but what was there first adventure like ? What caused them to want to continue adventuring ?

The true history of Princess Bubblegum- Throughout the series, we learn bit by bit of Princess Bubblegums past, like how she was made to creating the Candy Kingdom, but we still don’t know everything about her. I think an episode that shows her whole life (or specifically the important stuff) would be interesting plot for an episode(s).

An episode about pre-Ooo- So it known that a bomb from the Great Mushroom war caused an apocalypse that resulted in most of the world to change, and Ooo rose from the aftermath, but what were things like before that. What if we get an episode that shows what life was like for the characters that were there, like Ice King, Marceline and her mother, and anyone else who was alive then, before the bomb detonated.

Another plot idea for an episode like this is that it could be about a soldier (who is one of Finn’s past lives) who was fighting in the war, who after learning about the the deadly consequences of the bomb, wanted to stop it from detonating ?

How PB and Marceline met each other- So its a known fact that PB and Marceline are friend (its even canon that they dated in the past) but how did they meet each other ? Its time we know.

How Peppermint Butler became dark- It known that Peppermint Butler is a user of the dark arts, but in the episode “The Vault” he is kinda like a toddler. So what caused him to become the evil butler he is today ? Maybe we can learn about it in an episode where he battles Peace Master again.

Another Fionna an Cake episode- Its the last season so there should be one more episode. the plot could be that Ice Kings fan fiction has gotten popular in Ooo and decides to read a chapter from his recent story. I don’t really care what the story is about as long as it involves that universe’s version of Jakes and Lady’s children. (Its been confirmed that another Fionna and Cake will air in season 8 but I still hope for genderbent version of Jake and Lady's kids)

A Queen/prince arc- This is something I really hopes comes true. Throughout the series, the most used titles of royalty on the show has been princesses and kings, though others have been used, like Dukes, President, and Earls. However the 2 titles that seem to been barely used is prince and queen. So this got me thinking of some ideas that I think could be made into another small arc, kinda like the stake arc, one involves a queen and the other princes.

For the queen, the arc is about how, while doing a job for PB, Finn and Jake accidentally discover a tomb containing a living woman, who as it turns out, is the long lost Queen of Ooo. Though the woman looks nice, she is harboring dark sercets and it is up for the gang to try and figure it out.

Then there is my idea for an arc that involves princes. The arc starts when word goes out that most of the princesses of Ooo start getting married to princes who seem to be there perfect idea of a husband, a bit too much. It is then discovered by Finn that all the princes are all part of an organization who’s goal is to rule the whole planet, but to do this they need more power and resources so they disguise themselves as known princes so they can marry royalty. Now Finn must try and convince his friends and the other princesses that the marriages are part of a plan before its too late. I also have this funny idea of a gag that throughout the series, everyone thinks Finn is doing this because he is jealous of the princesses falling for other guys besides him.

So yeah these are some idea for possible episode plots for the last season of Adventure Time. What are your thought on them ? Which ideas would you like to see become an episode ?R&CFOREVER (talk) 18:48, December 26, 2016 (UTC)20100401212842!Wiki.png

I'd like see Finn during his child years. When he was older than a todler but younger than the preteen we see during his debut. Along with the background of Marceline and Princess Bubblegum around when they were best friends/girlfriends and broke up. Those two would be interesting to see. I want the final episode to have the crown give back Simon's memories and sanity thanks to Betty.MartyMcbean 14:12, December 27, 2016 (UTC)

There are some interesting ideas and theories here. If we're talking about hypothetical episodes for the final season of Adventure Time, I've got a few of my own I would like to share with everybody, so hopefully this thread is still active and this is the right place to post it. So, a couple of weeks ago me and a couple of my friends did an RP game where we created a story for a hypothetical final season of Adventure Time and how things could have turned out for the characters in the land of Ooo. I originally got the idea from a weird dream I had about Adventure Time that had a lot of cool and epic events in it that made for an interesting story. Before we begin, keep in mind that this was created after the Islands miniseries had aired but before the Elements miniseries has premiered, so some of the questions and plotlines from this hypothetical final season might end up getting resolved in the Elements miniseries.

We divided the events of our hypothetical story into about 26 "episodes", creating an unofficial final season of Adventure Time that explored some plot lines and themes that we thought would make for good episodes of the actual show. I'll just list the names of all the episodes here with a brief description of the events and what they are about. I have a more detailed and complete version of each episode written down in a Word document that describes the full extent and context of what happens in each one, but this will just be a brief summary of the basic gist of each episode and not the full thing. Please keep in mind, NONE of these episode titles and descriptions are canon at all, so if someone were to stumble upon this post without knowing the context, please do not mistaken them for something that came from the show creators and start spreading them around the internet like they are, because they aren't real episodes. They are simply names for an unofficial and hypothetical final season that my friends and I came up with during our RP game.

For the sake of simplicity, the story of the 26 episodes is divided into three major parts. The first nine episodes make up an arc known as the Crimson King Arc, after that there are seven episodes that just tell a few random stories that are not directly related to the main plot but serve to develop the characters, and finally the last ten episodes that wrap finish the story make up an arc known as the Downfall of Ooo Arc. Without further ado, here they are:

Part 1: The Crimson King

Pepper Mort: When Peppermint Butler is found dead and shattered in the Candy Kingdom the citizens all believe that it is was accident, but Princess Bubblegum secretly suspects foul play, and that the culprit was none other than Sweet Pea.

Body Snatchers: With her suspicions confirmed Princess Bubblegum confronts Sweet Pea with evidence of his crimes but is shocked to find that the Lich has reemerged within him, forcing her to take matters into her own hands and fight him with her elemental powers in a battle that engulfs the Candy Kingdom.

The New Lich: Coming out victorious from his battle with Princess Bubblegum and bringing ruin to the Candy Kingdom, the Lich has now obtained a new body for himself and begins to explore the world around him, curious to experience what being alive and human feels like.

Farewell Bonnibel: Upon their return from an adventure Finn, Jake, and Marceline are shocked to find the Candy Kingdom in ruins after Princess Bubblegum’s battle with the Lich and receive news that their dear friend has perished, so they hold a funeral for her.

The Crimson King: Creating a new identity for himself along with his new body, the Lich now desires a kingdom of his own and dubs himself the Crimson King, succeeding Princess Bubblegum as ruler of the Candy Kingdom and beginning the process of creating a new empire that will span all of Ooo.

The King Who Has Everything: After finally obtaining the kingdom he desired, the Crimson King soon begins to want even more land and power than he already has, and he sets his sights on forcibly annexing all the kingdoms of Ooo, starting with the Slime Kingdom.

Baby Gumdrop: Finn struggles to cope with the loss of Princess Bubblegum and after seeking comfort from his friends he visits the ruins of the old Candy Kingdom, where he finds one final legacy that Princess Bubblegum had left behind to live on after her death.

Who Are You: Calling the Crimson King out on his evil deeds and seeking to put a stop to them, Ice King challenges him to a magical duel but is surprised to find that his opponent now wields a magical elemental sword that controls the winds, rivaling even the power of his own Ice Crown.

The Hero of Ooo: In the aftermath of the duel between Crimson King and Ice King, the creature Orgalorg is accidently released from his earthly body as a consequence and begins to engulf the surrounding lands in a hideously distorted form, forcing the people of Ooo to call upon a hero to save them.

Part 2: Interlude

Finn the Man: Realizing that he is now officially an adult with arrival of his 18th birthday, Finn gets excited and decides to go tell all of his friends throughout Ooo, and in the meantime drops in to check on Ice King to see how he is doing after his battle with the Crimson King.

Dungeon Party: Seeking to relieve their boredom after Finn’s retirement from being a hero, Finn and Jake encounter Susan Strong and her friend Frieda, and together they form an adventuring party in order to conquer a dungeon that requires the skills and teamwork of an entire group to complete.

Big Sister: Finn’s bond with Susan grows and the two become much closer as she recounts to him the tale of how she first arrived in Ooo after being sent from Founder’s Island to track him down after he went missing as a baby.

Fern Finds Love: Deciding to set out on his own and discover a new purpose in his life, Fern meets and falls in love a plant girl, a plant girl whose origin could hold the key to unlocking the mystery behind his own origins and finding a new meaning to his existence.

It Takes a Village: Finn, Jake, BMO, and LSP struggle with the everyday task of raising Baby Gumdrop and taking care of her, but when she goes missing inside the tree house they must find her before Marceline returns and discovers her absence.

Home Sweet Home: Beginning to tire of LSP constantly bumming around at the tree house after losing her forest home due to the previous battle between Crimson King and Ice King, Finn and Jake decide to help LSP find a new home, as well as rebuild her strained relationship with her parents.

Marcy and Hunson: Marceline’s father Hunson Abadeer seeks her help in ending a curse that has been placed upon their family by the Sky Witch Maja, and as they recruit the assistance of Finn and Jake the father and daughter begin to bond with each other over past memories.

Part 3: Downfall of Ooo

Arms Race: After two years of peace have passed in Ooo, tensions begin to rise between the Candy Kingdom ruled by the Crimson King and the Fire Kingdom ruled by Flame Princess, and after the two kingdoms declare war on one another they unleash the most powerful weapons in their arsenals.

Burnout: After her forces are pushed back to the Fire Kingdom, Flame Princess fights Crimson King in a battle of epic proportions to end his reign of terror, while Finn rushes to prevent the same fate from befalling her as did Princess Bubblegum and stop the events of two years prior from repeating.

Who Wants to Live Forever: Frustrated and saddened by his failure to accomplish anything as a hero and being consumed by a fear of eventually having to grow up and face reality, Finn decides to search for the Fountain of Youth to become young again, wishing for a chance to start over in life.

Night Terrors: As the Lich begins collecting magical artifacts throughout Ooo, he creates a new minion to assist him in his plans, eventually leading him to the tree house of Finn and Jake, where he uses his powers to terrorize Finn and Jake in their sleep through nightmares in order to demoralize them.

Like Father Like Son: Finn gets a chance to meet his father again, and upon learning the story of how he came to be imprisoned in the Citadel, the two begin to bond with one another and Finn starts to realize that he and his father are not as different as he once thought.

Wind Sword: Finn learns from Prismo and Cosmic Owl that the Lich has stolen a powerful celestial object that could bring about the end of all life, and with nobody left in Ooo who is powerful enough to stop him the duty then falls to Finn, who must master his powerful new elemental sword.

Creatures Miniseries (Ivan the Human, Lady in the Lantern, Birth of Death, The Other Half, The Mother Gum, First Love, Mortal Sorrow, Bonnibel the Princess): As the Lich prepares for the final stages of his plan to destroy all life in Ooo, he takes a moment to recall his past as a human survivor of the Great Mushroom War, and how the events of his life would come to be intertwined with the lives of so many others in Ooo.

The End of Ooo: Finn, Jake, Marceline, Simon, Betty, and Patience travel to the Lich’s tower to do battle with him and his undead forces, and as Finn and the Lich fight to decide the fate of Ooo the meaning behind their connected destiny is revealed, as well as the true end goal of the Lich’s plans to end all life.

Happily Ever After: As all of Ooo recovers in the aftermath of their battle, Finn and his friends resume their lives with a renewed hope for the future and Finn decides to take Marceline to Founder’s Island to meet his mother and father, and show her the meaning of her previous sacrifice to save humanity.

Adventure Time + 1000: One thousand years later the decedents of Finn and his friends living in Ooo get together for a reunion, but as a strange new Catalyst Comet approaches they are left to wonder what this could mean for them and how it will affect all of Ooo.

Well, there you have it. Sorry if this is a ridiculously long post. Hope you all enjoy this potential idea for a final season of Adventure Time that attempts to wrap everything up in a satisfying way.Darth Malice the Destroyer (talk) 06:16, April 17, 2017 (UTC)
