Well, it's cool that we've created episode articles for all future season 3 articles. But these articles are a magnet for fan fiction (people trying to make up plot summaries). We've seen this happen before with season 2 episodes. So I'm proposing we protect articles about future episodes from being edited. They should be unlocked only after we actually know any worthwhile information about them. Thoughts? --Cornprone 02:14, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

I think it's a good idea. I love my rollback powers and all, but sometimes a brother needs a break, you know? Bankaibuddy15 03:40, April 21, 2011 (UTC)Bankaibuddy15

Oh, and by the way, I'm the one that made the season three roster, so yeah, your undying praise is all I ask in return :) Bankaibuddy15 03:41, April 21, 2011 (UTC)Bankaibuddy15

Quite a good idea. As an admin, I can edit the pages, so it's not an issue to me, but I am annoyed about all the trolls. "I once saw him juggle a baby, a bowling ball, and an olive. It was made extra hard because the baby pooped." 11:26, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

I say keep open only episode pages that have legitimate information or proof at this point, like Door Jam and Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake. Everything else with literally nothing but a title...yeah, those should be locked until further information is revealed. -StrangerAtaru 12:28, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

OK, since there's no objection, I'm going to start locking it down. --Cornprone 23:13, May 12, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, and I'm only protecting the pages from new and unregistered users, so regular users can still edit them. --Cornprone 23:45, May 12, 2011 (UTC)
I call for bringing this back... ShinxfelinoelScraft 13:40, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
Lock future episode pages from IPs, I've seen episode articles become a sandbox of speculation and fanfiction by IP editors. -- Bunai82 (talk) 21:37, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
We did bring this back; most of the upcoming season 4 episodes should currently be semi-protected (Protected from new and unregistered). If you see ones that aren't, go ahead and protect them. --Cornprone 23:45, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
"Hug Wolf," "In Your Footsteps," and "Dream of Love" are the only upcoming Season 4 episodes that are not locked from new and unregistered users. SaberSworn 13:56, April 17, 2012 (UTC)
Protected. ShinxfelinoelScraft 14:05, April 17, 2012 (UTC)
I think we should reconsider locking down future episodes before they air, just registered users doesn't stop the fanfiction being posted and then once the trailers for that episode come out every second of the trailer is screenshotted and then uploaded and that is just way too many not needed images and locking the page would help deter that. I don't think this is necessary, but if such problems are frequent, then I got no problem with it. TheMostBoringManInTheWorld (talk) 12:58, October 24, 2013 (UTC)
