Can't be, since it was shown that the Lich was existed since the time of the Mushroom War, and I don't see why time would move differently in different universes. So now it's impossible for another reason: The future was the antecedent for the past.
That doesn't jibe with the whole "causality" thing we have going in the human conception of physics. Effect follows cause, future follows past, and the future has to be caused by the past in order to occur. It can't happen the other way around. So no, I think the Lich is not Finn or any other version of him.

I don't understand this.I didn't think it was that widespread until I saw a bunch of artworks. Yeah the Lich came out of Finn's bellybutton. So did the ocean, Bubblegum, and a clown. Finn isn't those things. Plus before that they even said to use Finn's fears to break apart the dreamscape. Finn may have defeated the Lich, but he's still scared of it. You can kill a spider, doesn't mean you find them any less creepy.Strawberry Cows (talk) 16:31, May 16, 2013 (UTC)
