Something I've been thinking about since the first time I saw The Vault. I think Finn, in a past life, is the one who took that giant chunk out of Earth. He reveals a few past lives in The Vault, the first being a comet. Some time before that, I think during I Remember You though I could be wrong (I'd have to watch the episode again and I don't have access to it right now), we see a drawing of earth with a comet heading right towards it in Ice King's "The Past" room. We've also seen that something DID happen to Earth/Ooo, as there is a large chunk missing when Finn goes to Mars to rescue Jake, or when you see the hologram globe during Five Short Graybles. I think that the coment that hit Earth was Jake in a past life, and that's how he first got to Earth. Mewmew34 (talk) 06:02, December 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Way way way way way back during the first season the creator, Pen, said that that was caused by a nuclear war... it could be different now though... File:♪ A Fairytale of Sipsco - Christmas Special!. ƒelinoel_ 20:55, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
I don't think that Finn destroyed part of Earth. The main problem with that theory is that we know The Great Mushroom War is the cause of the destruction of all of the previous societies of Earth, and so it's more easily accepted that a bomb in The Great Mushroom War caused Ooo to look like it does(with a big chunk missing, that is.) While of course in the real world the types of bombs suggested(hydrogen and nuclear bombs which cause "mushroom clouds" which relates to the Mushroom War), it is quite possible that a bomb caused the chunk of Earth to be destroyed.
Side note: I couldn't find the picture in Ice King's "The Past" room.
Side Side note: It was an interesting theory to say the least. I just believe the bomb theory is more sound with the lore we have. MirthTheBard (talk) 08:00, January 11, 2014 (UTC)
