So I'll just throw this out there... they say candy is the only thing that would survive a nuclear blast. Next to cockroaches. So When I saw the Simon and Marcy episode, I noticed the article showing the media calling Simons discoveries crackpot theories. So perhaps he predicted the bomb... which I assume was the lich... by finding the Enchiridion. When nobody believed him maybe he went out on his own to try to save people. By turning them into candy so they could survive the bomb??? I don't know this has been rattling around in my mind for a while, so I figured I'd post.

- If you watch "Simon & Marcy", you see Simon run into a proto-cany person. The only reaction we get out of this is Simon thinking that it is gross. This means that Simon neither created the candy people nor did he origonally know what they were. - Alchemical (talk) 04:44, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
