The Fallout Bunker, also known as the Secret Club House, is a location seen during the Adventure Time: Distant Lands episode, "Obsidian". It is a former shelter located in the side of a mountain in the Bad Lands. It was used to house the Humans that survived the events of the Mushroom War.

History[]

Before or during the Mushroom War, this shelter was created to house human survivors. Elise possessed a keycard that granted her access to this bunker, implying she used to reside here. For some unknown reason, all the inhabitants died, and their skeletal remains still reside there.

Marceline's childhood[]

When Marceline was a child, her mother Elise helped her create a map that gave her directions to its location. She told Marceline that it was a secret "party clubhouse". Marceline would later venture there and find it, using the keycard to open the door. Marceline would wait here for a long period of time, creating her own fort, drawing pictures that she stuck on the abandoned monitors, and creating friends/toys out of the boxes she found in the room.

"Obsidian"[]

Marceline returned to the bunker during this episode in hopes that it would inspire her to write a sad song, as it was "the place where she got hurt the most". After returning and finding her friends she made out of trash, she messed with a device that had its red button blinking, as she always found the blinking annoying. This caused an audio recording of her mother to start playing, as her mother had called her at some point, Marceline not understanding that was what was causing the red blinking. Glassboy would eventually come in and mess with her stuff, which annoyed her. This eventually led to Marceline leaving, though she took Glassboy with her.

Exterior

The exterior appears to be a giant metal vault with a pipe on the top of it that extends all the way to the top of the mountain that it is carved into. Along these pipes are broken metal stairways. In order to access the interior, a keycard is required.

Interior[]

Interior

Interior

The interior appears to be completely made of metal. It is filled with overgrowth from being long abandoned, as its former residence had died for an unknown reason, and now only their skeletons remain. Inside appears to have fans on the ceiling and various pipes covering the walls. There is a hand railing in the top right corner implying that there might be another unseen level. On the right side of the room are posters, food rations, a bed with a skeleton in it with markings written on the wall next to it, and a skeleton sitting at a table of motoring screens. Also on this side is a computer-like device with a red light that is always blinking (which was due to a call from Elise). This computer-like device is used to receive calls.mOn the left side is a safe, a shower/bathroom with "SAVE WATER" written on its wall a skeleton sitting on a toilet, a gas mask, and another desk with monitoring screens with a skeleton sitting at it. The entrance door is also made of steel and appears to be being held up with large metal nails. On the roof of the ceiling are written the words "SURVIVE" in red. In the middle of the back side of the bunker is a table with two skeletons sitting at the table.
