| + | The episode continues at the part when Marceline was about to get hit by the sunlight of the rising sun, she tells Finn that whatever happens, that he should burn all her diaries and never let anyone read them, the sunlight finally hit her strong, thus knocking her out and going through several random dreams, the first dream she had was about when she was still young, she was laying on her mother's laps, as Marceline's mom tries to convince ehr to take her nap, but Marceline refuses explaining that her dreams are weird, her mom states that everything's gonna be ok, thus, the two sings the "Everything Stays" song. Her next dream was when she was a bit older, she was packing Simon Petrikov's luggage, as Simon records himself in a VHS tape to later to be re-watched by Marceline in case he goes insane, he leaves right after he records the video, bringing it with him. Marceline's third dream was when she looked a lot teenage-like ,fighting a vampire, after she kills it, she gains the ability to float, her next dream was when she was hunting for prey as she sets up a trap for the rabbit, she waits for the rabbit to take the carrot so she could wring its neck and eat it afterwards, but after she got impatient of watin, she lassos the rope as the rope lands on the rabbit's ear, as the rabbit turns around, Marceline notices that it wasn't a rabbit at all, but rather, a human. The litle girl got very afraid, then Marceline carefully takes off the rope from her head, reassuring her that everything's fine, then shows her fangs to her, the little girl runs away, screaming, and informs her tribe about a vampire that tried to eat her, Marceline followed her and tried to clam them down that she wasn't a vampire due to her still being unaffected even though she is still standing even in bare sunlight. The following dream was when the tribe leader started to sing stories for the tribe, Marceline joins in from her hiding spot behind a bush, strumming her axe bass and singing along, the little girl popped up from behind the bush, she offers her a chicken leg and asks her to continue playing, then the whole tribe joins her and listens to her song. Her next dream was when she and the tribe were very good friends already, as she plays with the little girl pretending to not know that she was following her, disguised as a vampire, with fake fangs, the little girl pounces on her and Marceline pretends to play dead until they arrived at a gigantic ship, she greets the tribe and asks how they were doing, the tribe leader then says that the ship will be finished by the next day or so, so they could leave the place in fear of the vampires attacking them, they invited Marceline to join them, but she says that she already killed almost all the vampires of the land, that they didn't even have a reason to leave anymore, the tribe leader states that it's much more than just the vampires, then someone ringed a bell to inform the tribe that a vampire is close by, the vampire sucks on his hat as Marceline killed it, Marceline quickly informs him to get to the boat, then rushes away to kill the vampires that were following them, she killed all the vampires on deck as the tribe leader informs that her dog, Schwabble ,was not really her dog, but a higher ranked vampire disguised as her dog, she dueled with him,until she corners him and then kills him she gains his shapeshifitng powers , Tom, the tribe leader, tosses her her axe and makes a joke about it, Marceline foresaw the Vampire King and tells them to leave, Tom thinks that it as because of his joke, but it was because the Vampire Kin was nearby, Marceline wakes up in pain, the sun evaporates the holes on her neck where the vampire bite used to be, thus transforming her to a regular human, then the farmer wonders if she wasn't a vampire, then what could be the source of all the blood-sucked animals, Jake wakes up in a cave, as the goo from all over forms into bodies, and then revealed to be the Vampire King and his tribe, thus scaring Jake, ending the episode. |

"Everything Stays"[1] is the second part of the "Stakes" miniseries.
Synopsis
Marceline looks back on her life on her last day.
Plot
