  • The music heard in the TV Spot for the "It Came From The Nightosphere" set was previously (and first started) used for the opening and closing of Mordecai and Rigby's song in the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 promo and is recently used for the "Pizza Song" in the 2012 revival of Cartoon Planet.
  • Jeremy Shada narrates the commercial for the "Complete First Season" set.
  • In Australia, the cover design of the DVD "Jake vs. Me-Mow" is very different. The hat is inside a cardboard box, and the hat isn't visible from the outside, but instead, the outside is replaced by a picture of Finn's hat.
  • "It Came From The Nightosphere" was nominated for an Emmy award.
