Charlie is a dog/shape-shifter/rainicorn hybrid and is one of Jake and Lady's five children.
Charlie resides in an ancient temple on the far side of the world and travels to Ooo by growing to a massive size and becoming intangible, then easily walking through the ocean with her upper half out in space. She is heavily into mysticism and Tarot cards, which she uses to read the nature of others. In "Daddy-Daughter Card Wars," she uses one of Jake's bones and a lock of Lady's hair to read her own future, which depicts her going through some periods of confusion and sadness, but ultimately winding up content in her 90s. At some point, she may be destined to have a hybrid son she names "Gibbon."
Appearance
Like her father, Charlie has the body and face of an orange/yellow English Bulldog with large, characteristic eyes. She has patches of pastel colors on her stomach and the lower part of her body. She also has a light-blonde tail and mane with a single white, sharply pointed horn. Charlie has fairly light-orange freckles on her cheeks.
As an "adult," Charlie no longer has a green bottom and orange freckles and wears clothes regularly. Her tail has also grown longer. In "Apple Wedding," she wears a blue necklace, pink one shoulder dress, and purple shoes. In "Ocarina," she is seen wearing a blue T-shirt that slightly resembles a dress. Her hair has also grown slightly longer compared to her last episode.
Abilities
Charlie has the ability to fly and teleport from one place to another. She can also transform into a super pup with her brothers and sisters.
Charlie has also demonstrated her father's size changing abilities and her mother's ability to phase through solid matter. She is a skilled Tarot card reader, and has an understanding of how to read the future and see a person's essential nature through mystic rituals. These skills apparently translate to playing Card Wars as well.

Trivia
- Charlie's dancing in "Jake the Dad" imitates Jake's dancing in "Power Animal."
- Charlie's name is not a reference to Charlie the Unicorn.[2]
- As with two of the other pups, her name is possibly a reference to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where three of the protagonists names were Charlie Bucket (Charlie), Violet Beauregarde (Viola), and Mike Teavee (TV).
- She carries T.V. while flying several times in "Jake the Dad."
- According to her father, Charlie and her siblings (excluding T.V.) all have their own apartments.
- Based on promotional artwork for "Apple Wedding," Charlie lives in a very messy apartment and does not want Jake to find out about it.
- She is the only puppy to not speak English yet.
- However she has spoke some English in the promotional art of "Apple Wedding."
- She was also meant to speak in the opening scene of "Ocarina," but this was cut for time or because a voice actress could not be found.
- She is Steve Wolfhard's favorite pup.[3]
- In "Apple Wedding," all of Charlie's fur is yellow, as opposed to it having multiple colors as seen in other episodes.
