Keep — I disagree. What if someone wants to read about ice thing and not Gunter, or read about Gunter and not ice thing? Also, what if someone wants to know the debute episode of one or the other?

I personally don't think it matters much, but I agree a lot of the food articles are short and unnecessary so maybe merging the minor foods, living or non, into one article would be the best bet. Ice Thing

• Keep — I think it would be a good idea to have a separate page for the Ice Thing. While, yes, he's technically using Gunter's physical body to exist, we aren't really sure if he behaves like Gunter at all or has any of his memories. I think merging his page with Gunter's would be like merging Fern's with Finn's, or the Finn Sword or the Grass Sword. Ice Thing isn't just Gunter, he's more of an amalgimation of a wish Gunter made as well as the thoughts and personality of the Ice King. ~"Don't be a faffin' slacker! • The problem with this, even though I do agree with your points, is there aren't any more episodes planned or developed, let alone storyboarded. Ice Thing has only made one appearance, but hasn't made a big enough plot impact to warrant a new page. • Honestly, this might seem a bit radical but I almost don't think having separate pages for Simon and Ice King is that bad an idea. the show really began embracing the idea that ice king is his own fleshed out and developed person that deserves to be alive as much as simon does so i'd really almost argue that Ice King is a whole different character. the only thing he really has in common with simon is the fact that he came from him. this is kind of off topic for a discussion about gunter vs. ice thing, though. my point is that, i think it's a little to simplifying to boil it down to "they have the same body so they're the same character." This might be speculative but i assumed "ice thing" was really just ice king in everything but appearance. • If you go by this logic, then we should also make a separate article for Orgalorg and Gunter or The Lich and Sweet P. All those are just alternative forms of characters who have lost their memory. It is the same individual. • I do see your point, but I feel like Orgalorg is a different sort of thing, since he's sort of a backstory to Gunter and hasn't really made any appearances without having some sort of connection to Gunter. and, as i said with simon and ice king, sweet p and the lich being separate isn't quiiite as crazy an idea as it would seem, in my opinion. Sweet P is a whole different character from the lich and isn't always referred to in relation to the lich. He is sometimes, since yeah, there is a clear link between the two, but they are independent from one another and even communicated with one another as clearly different people with different intentions and thoughts in Whispers. though that's kind of a whole other discussion. I mainly think Ice Thing should be separated since, yeah, while he hasn't had a ton of screen time in the show and, with it having ended, very likely won't ever, we've only known about this connection between him and Gunter very very recently compared to his first appearance being back in season 6. I just feel like there's enough setting them apart to warrant the pages being separate, especially with the 1000+ universe seen in a few episodes and canon outside material establishing him further as a separate character. ~"Don't be a faffin' slacker!"~ 01:46, September 23, 2018 (UTC)
