Auto-tuning allows Finn to modulate his voice in a musical way by raising or lowering notes. He gained this ability by swallowing a little computer in an unspecified moment earlier in his life. It was first used in "The Jiggler," in which Finn used it to sing "Baby" to Stanley and a Jiggler. He also used it without singing when he said "Let's get this party started!" to Jake and when he said "Get down!!!" in the same episode.

Trivia

Finn can choose whether or not he uses auto-tuning; he sings without it in numerous episodes. However, in "Davey," he rubs his stomach to use auto-tune.
He can also use auto-tune not only to sing, but to modify his voice, turning it an octave higher or lower, as seen in "Davey."
