Andy Ristaino is a character designer on Adventure Time. He began working on the series during its second season and has recently taken over from Phil Rynda as lead character designer. He designed the Hyoomen Tribe, Earclops, Whisper Dan, Crystal Guardian, the Knights, Rock People, Tree People, Horse, Snail Ladies, the Cloud Kingdom crowd, Party God, Bob Rainicorn, Ethel Rainicorn, Princess Beautiful, Royal Tart Toter, the Chuds, the Back Rubbers, Mushroom Village, many Goblins, Honey Bunny, most Wolves, Cubby, the Bears, Hot Dog Knight, the Mystery Train skeletons, Wendy, Booboo, Georgy, Wizard Eyes, PB Monster, some Cuties, five Gladiator Ghosts, Scorcher, Ash, Abracadaniel, Brain Wiz, Cyclo, Dimension Wizard, Gentleman Wizard, Grand Master Wizard, Laser Wizard, Rock Wizard, and Science Whyzard.

- According to himself, he is 5'7 1/2."[4]
- He plays the theremin and the acoustic guitar.[5]
- He also attended RISD, where he was classmates with Seth MacFarlane, who later became a storyboard artist of Johnny Bravo and later created Family Guy, American Dad!, and The Cleveland Show. Here both Andy and Seth appeared in RISD's Film Society Welcome video where Andy appears in 1:42. [6]
- He was described as a type of "wood elf," a "scribbler," and a "holder of paper and pens" in the dictionary from "Mystery Train."
- He is apparently planning to pitch his own TV show. [7]
- His favorite princess is Turtle Princess.
