Alva is the first of the humans Finn encounters on the islands, introduced in "Mysterious Island," she is a grandmotherly-type. She speaks Swedish, so Finn was not able to effectively communicate with her; they relied on gestures and drawings. The weather on the first island he encountered features abnormal weather patterns.
Appearance
She is tanned and short statured, with short and white hair. She wears a pink hat and robe. She is very old as the time has passed by.
Personality
There's little to know about her personality since she cannot speak the common speech Finn nor Jake have. From the movie she was watching with Finn, she cared deeply for her human friends who disappeared or were eaten by the creatures in the island. She's the only survivor, being able to use technology and instincts to accomplish this. She also has the ability to tame big creatures such as a gigantic parrot or her bear mascot who help her in need.
