The Task Force
The Land of Ooo is a wonderful and mysterious place, filled with bliss and adventure. However, what is unseen is often harsher than what is, and danger can be found behind every corner, and darkness is more of a blight than meets the eye. This goes for the wiki of Adventure Time. On the outside, it is humble, delightful, and welcoming, but as one goes further inside its gates, they will see that it is a mass of poor edits, trolls, and inadequate users. That is to say, it has not met its potential. There are many brilliant articles and users, but not enough, and this is where the Task Force begins.
The Mission
The Task Force is comprised of the elite editors who know how to handle the English language forwards and backwards. They stand tall as masters of words and their craft. Because of this, it is their duty to save the Adventure Time wiki from impending doom of terrible grammar and edits.
Our goal is simple and yet challenging. We wish to eradicate the wiki of poor edits, grammar, and content and monitor the articles that have been purified. We work hard at ensuring that every article is as close to perfection as humanly possible, and that should someone violate this they be dealt with. We are not admins or superiors; we are humble folk working on this project, who lead not out of necessity or domination, but rather out of respect. We fight for the reclamation of English from the dark hands ignorance, and because of this we are in existence.
Leading as an Equal
The Task Force is not a section of the administration, just as a police officer is not a government official. We have no power to delete users or articles, on the ability to monitor them. We lead out of respect and we lead out of virtues. We have the prowess and abilities to read a sentence and page forwards and backwards and detect every single mistake on the page with ease. But we do not stand above you. There is no corruption or hostility in these grounds. We are consultants to admins, bureaucrats, and average users. Should you seek our advice, simply direct it to our talk page and we shall get to you as quickly as possible. We are here for a reason, and that is to give you the highest quality articles possible and ensure they stay this way.
Joining the Task Force
In order to join the Task Force, it takes one of several simple steps. Either receive an invite from a current member, an invite from an admin or Bureaucrat, or take a quiz to determine your grammatical and Mathematical! skills. We are all experts, and this is our speciality. To work with us, you must show you can be one of us. No elections are required, no influence, no genuine experience, simply skill. Should you possess this, you can easily get in.
