Adventure Time: Marceline Gone Adrift Issue 1 is the first issue of the 2015 mini-series.

Synopsis

Marceline is on a rampage for mysterious reasons, and the kingdom of Ooo is desperately scrambling to stop her. In trying to save both Ooo and Marceline herself, PrincessBubblegum accidentally propels Marceline into the farthest reaches of space...and strips her of her powers! Guilt-ridden, Princess Bubblegum sets off on a space rescue that’ll test the power of her mind...as well as the power of friendship.[1]

Plot

The seris starts out with Marceline singing a song but then becomes angry with herself because she cannot make a song that she believes is filled with heart and soul,Finn walks into the room to try to cheer her up but is explained why her songs are not as good as they used to be,during the talk Jake walks into the room with a plate of nachos. While Jake explains to Marceline how he like how he lives his life, a sudden electrical spark bursts within the room. Meanwhile, Peppermint Butler knocks on a door that says "keep out",and he then go's in. Inside, Princess Bubblegum is looking through a teloscope and is intrupted with Peppermint Butler. An insult from the Leafling Prince was made in space with debrie from the Leafling colony,she wishes that she never let the prince leave her dungeon after Pep's trys to defend them. Suddenly a blue flash kicks the power out and races towards PB and Pep's,crashing into the building they're in. It is then revealed that Marceline is unconscious and is under the control of the blue electrical source. Then the possessd Marceline is thrown towards a different dirrection,the spears of the gurads are taken with a invisible soure and thrown at them. PB commands Cinnamon Bun to use her machine to capture Marceline in a translucent red orb,and succeeds. After a sad moment with PB,she tells Cinnamon Bun to shoot Marceline into space because of the stability of the red orb is breaking down, everyone then sorrowly walks away.
