Erm.

I think there's been a similar discussion to this before and I believe a majority preferred not to restrict peoples "creative flow", so to speak, and not just in comics...

The idea being that if we, as a fandom, got a little too voicy, then we would take a classic Steven U-turn-iverse (good pun, I know). I.e. if we 'policed' the fan-related content of our beloved show we would actually be Tumblr.

And that is a fate I would wish upon few.

If such things float your boat then, err... cool. Totally cool. We shouldn't judge you... in our heads we will, but we shouldn't.

I like to think the AT fandom is open-arms most of the time which is half the reason I'm here. The other half being the show itself. If a show itself is 10/10 then fantastic; but if the fandom's cancer then I'd rather not associate. Sorry for lack of a more appropriate term.

I think people should not make sexual comics, I don't mind them making regualr comics, but sexual comics gets under peoples skin

@DjJoe666 people who make any kind of sexual comics based on cartoon characters I think have something wrong with them. I know the Steven Universe fan base is messed up with all the lesbian and queer themes in the show, but some people actually make amazing draws that are not sexual. A person making sexual comics must also fantasize having sex with the character with taking days to complete their "art." I think the fan base would be better if people didn't make any sexual comics. I enjoy regular drawings people do but sexual goes over the limit.

@Estar Mock Yeah, I mean, it's not what you'd call my cup of tea. In terms of the artists 'fantasies', I'd rather not delve that deep into someones head...

The fact of the matter is is that if people put equal amounts of effort into making all forms of different art around AT, which is less 'sensitive', then we could have loads of beautiful artwork which everyone would want to share around without fear of it being scrutinised for such reasons.

If I was drawing something and my mum walked in like "What're you drawing?", I'd rather I be able to turn around and show it off instead of having to rugby tackle my desk.

@DjJoe666 if you were drawing something sexual your mom will probably faint and think you are disturbed. Do you look at sexual AT comics cause you seem to support them well. Yeah a person own thoughts but still how much of their life to give up for drawing boobs and dicks from cartoon characters. I saw I drawing of a sexual AT comic and I wanted to blow my brains out. How disgusting and awful work someone waste in order to please their or others fethishes. People creativity can go into drawing the characters hug and kiss not having sex. If you are into sexual AT comics fine i don't care but don't support the spread to others.
